It has been an eternity since my last post, but gosh I feel like I lived five lifetimes!

There is an artist I adore named Middlepot who keeps a blog and updates at the least once at the end of each month, which has been very inspirational to me and I wanted to start doing something similar if I can. It feels like such a nice thing to look forward to and I liked the idea of having an opportunity to at least summarize how the month went for me for one of my favorite hobbies and passions, even if I wasn't able to write as much as I liked previously~

The most notable good part of January was one of my dear friends was finally able to visit from California!!  It had been many years since I last saw her and while it was just for a couple of days it was so incredibly fun! One day was spent being comfy at home having lots of tea, sandwiches (although I messed one up because of having to use a new kind of french mustard which was full of horseradish unbeknownst to me, noo!) and desserts while catching up which was so nice and cozy~

We also both had a bunch of things for each other from combining shopping shipments over the last two years!! So we had a super fun unboxing party where we could finally give each other the purchases we had been holding on to which was so exciting. Even though it was a long wait it was so very worth it and such a great time opening things together!! We exchanged gifts in person too and booted up our Sanrio M!x Tamagotchis together, it was such a fun day!

Our next hangout involved a full day of adventures! And the best part is she, her friend I met for the first time, and I all got to wear coordinates together!!  It was so much fun! Her friend's partner and mine also came along so it was a bundle of fun. I am so terrible about remembering to take photos when running around with friends ahh, but we were an assortment of various tartan colors and vintage prints, we all looked so cute! For the day I introduced them to my favorite plant nursery which also serves brunch, then we went to a park that surrounds a big lake and also has one of the best chocolatiers nearby (also my favorite place for mocha lattes), and we finished the day with some soul warming ramen! By the end of the day my face was sore from laughing so much, it was such a wonderful time~!! I was so sad when she had to return home and hope I can see her again soon, it was such a wonderful and energizing few days together!

Other than that, this month was just filled with the usual plethora of appointments but having such fun times was a really nice way to start the year~ Especially ones that involved one of my favorite hobbies with friends!

~Happy 2023~
